For our client, one of the Top 10 Companies in Payment Card Industry, we are looking for a Business Development Manager who will cover the Albania and Kosovo region.

Summary

The purpose of this role is to improve the relationship between the (Company-Payment Card Industry) and clients in Albania and Kosovo (banks, merchants), in order to promote development of electronic payments and client oriented activities. Manage the setting, direction and implementation of country & business strategies, objectives and plans in order to achieve business targets and through identifying new ways of promotion of (Company) benefits, innovative solutions, new products and services.

What you will have to do:

  • To realise the business strategy for Albania by ensuring the development of individual designated clients operational plans, with corresponding tactics and actions to achieve defined goals as well as the necessary and effective.
  • Marketing plans are in place in good time.
  • Monitor the development of the banking and financial services industry across the region, analyse trends and understand factors impacting current and potential business results of (Company).
  • Responsible for country Payment Volume growth and revenue.
  • Establish, develop and manage relationships in-country with Vendors, Processors, merchants.
  • Identify new business development opportunities and take accountability for and manage the project evaluation of these. 
  • Focus on achieving business targets through growing existing business and developing new business opportunities.
  • Monitor business results of designated clients and anticipate challenges and take proactive measures to accomplish targets.
  • Represent (Company) to the clients by providing a point of contact to them, with permanent high quality support on the (Company) organisation, products, systems and policies.
  • Client consulting relating to operations, IT, marketing and compliance.
  • Ensure Country manager is fully informed of actions that may affect the country performance.
  • Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan.
  • Interpret business issues and recommend best practices.
  • Work independently with guidance in only the most complex situations.
  • Generates new business and maintains existing client relationships in mid to large accounts.
  • Is expected to interact effectively with all levels of (Company) management and staff.
