Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is recently graduated in a bachelor/master's degree and wants to join our team as an HR Hotel Specialist - Apprentice. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in human resources within the dynamic hospitality industry. You will support HR operations while learning the fundamentals of HR management, employee engagement, and compliance in a hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in creating job postings and screening candidates.
- Support the coordination of interviews and onboarding activities for new hires.
- Prepare and maintain employee personnel files.
Training and Development:
- Help organize and facilitate employee training programs.
- Maintain training records and support continuous learning initiatives.
Employee Engagement:
- Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and events.
- Assist in collecting and analyzing employee feedback to improve workplace culture.
HR Administration:
- Maintain HR databases and update records to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with payroll preparation and benefits administration.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
Compliance and Policy Implementation:
- Ensure all HR activities comply with labor laws and hotel policies.
- Assist in updating and communicating HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in human resources and the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor/Master diploma or equivalent required.
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a relevant HR or hospitality-related program is preferred but not mandatory.
